Refund & Cancellation
1. Advokacy is free today
Nothing on Advokacy is billed at present. There is no card to add, no plan to choose and no charge to reverse. Every feature — Ask Advokacy, Document Intelligence, the Drafting Studio, the Cause List, Live Courts and your Library & Case Diary — is available at no cost while we are in beta.
This policy is published so that the position is on the record now, and so that it already applies on the day paid plans begin.
2. Cancelling
You can stop using the Service whenever you like. To close your account and have your data deleted, write to pssr.legal@gmail.com — the Privacy Policy sets out what is deleted and when.
When paid plans exist, cancelling will stop the next renewal. Your plan will keep running to the end of the period you have already paid for; we will not cut it short.
3. When paid plans arrive
Paid plans will cover the modules that spend money on your behalf on a paid legal-source retrieval. Research you can read and verify yourself is not what we intend to charge for.
Before any charge is ever made we will: state the price and the billing period in the product before you commit; take an explicit confirmation from you; and send a receipt. No existing user will be charged without opting in.
4. Refunds
When paid plans begin, these are the rules we will apply:
- Seven days. A refund in full if you ask within seven days of a first subscription payment and the plan has been substantially unused.
- Our fault. A full refund where you were billed in error, billed twice, or billed after cancelling.
- Serious failure. A pro-rata refund for a prolonged outage or a failure of a paid feature that we could not put right in reasonable time.
- Consumed retrieval. Charges for paid legal-source retrievals already made on your behalf are not refundable, because the cost has already been incurred with the source. The cost meter in the product shows this for every answer, before and after.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email pssr.legal@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund — Advokacy", the email address on the account, the date and amount, and what went wrong.
We acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within 7 working days. An approved refund goes back by the method you paid with; your bank or card issuer usually takes 5–10 working days after that, which is their timetable and not ours.
6. If you disagree with our decision
If you are unhappy with a refund decision, write to the Grievance Officer at pssr.legal@gmail.com with the subject line "Grievance — Refund". We will review and reply within 30 days.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law.
These terms are provided as a considered starting point and are not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel. Have them reviewed before you rely on them for paid traffic or for billing.
